Your trip package will cover A to Z of your climbing experience, starting from the moment you exit immigration to the moment your driver drops you off for your departure. Outdoor supply stores are limited in Arusha, so please ensure you bring everything on the gear list as we are limited in what we can share. Clothing, electrical items, and camp luxuries are hard to come by here!
Kilimanjaro Climbing Tours offers gear rental for larger items that can be difficult to pack, such as:
· Hiking poles
· Sleeping bags
· Backpacks
· Waterproof camp bags
What’s included:
· Transportation to and from the airport
· Hotel lodging for your first and last night
· Tents and ground pads
· Meals and all utensils while on the mountain
· Group lunch at a restaurant on the bus ride home (excluding any alcoholic beverages)
· Fees for the guides and porters
At Kilimanjaro Climbing Tours, we pride ourselves on fair wages, obviously tips are always appreciated but are not obligatory. If you tip, please do so privately!
What is not include:
· Travelers/medical insurance
· Additional nights at the hotel
· Transportation around town before and after the climb
· Food at restaurants
· Personal medications
· Water bottle
· Missing or lost gear (Kilimanjaro Climbing Tours offers some rental gear, if needed)
· Snacks you wish to buy upon arrival
· Extra batteries
· Toiletries
· Any other consumables you wish to bring
· Medical supplies (staff will have personal first aid kits, however it is not sufficient for everyone please have your own)
