What's Included?
Your trip package will cover A to Z of your climbing experience, starting from the moment you exit immigration to the moment your driver drops you off for your departure. Outdoor supply stores are limited in Arusha, so please ensure you bring everything on the gear list as we are limited in what we can share. Clothing, electrical items, and camp luxuries are hard to come by here!
Kilimanjaro Climbing Tours offers gear rental for larger items that can be difficult to pack, such as:

What's Included:

Transportation to and from the airport

Hotel lodging for your first and last night

Meals and all utensils while on the mountain

At Kilimanjaro Climbing Tours, we pride ourselves on fair wages, obviously tips are always appreciated but are not obligatory. If you tip, please do so privately!

Hotel Accommodations
Your package rate includes two nights in a hotel. One on the first night you arrive, and one for the night you return from the mountain.
Unlike some companies, we are not in a hurry to see you leave! If you desire to stay for additional nights, please let us know. We have special rates with several of the local hotels which allows us to save our climber's money.
We feel this enhances the experience and keeps more money in the local economy, however, if you would like to stay at a top-of-the-line hotel, let us know in advance and we can coordinate a change. If you elect to change to another hotel, simply cover the price yourself and we will refund the balance you already paid towards the original hotel before the end of your trip.
Airport Transfers &
Local Transport
One airport pick-up and one airport drop-off are included in each trip package.
Please coordinate your arrival date and time with the office so we can facilitate a seamless pick-up. We understand that many climbers may wish to remain in Arusha for a few extra days to explore and recover. We encourage this! Please let us know and we can accommodate the final transfer on the date of your choosing, so long as it originates from Arusha.
If you arrive early or wish to depart later, and desire local transport please let us know and we will put you in touch with a vetted local driver to ensure that you do not receive the famed “Mzungu” (wanderer) price that many new arrivals to Tanzania deal with. We provide our affiliated drivers with much business, so they are careful to be respectful our clients.
